There’s a rumor going around that a familiar face could return to the Patriots’ front office in the near future.
Texans reporter John McClain recently heard that general manager Nick Caserio could be out once the 2023 NFL Draft is over.
“A longtime member of an AFC front office I’ve respected for years told me he heard Caserio was leaving after the draft to return to New England,” McClain wrote. “I told him it didn’t make sense on any level, but I checked with people in the Texans’ organization I trust, and they said they didn’t believe it, either.”
Even though McClain doesn’t buy this rumor about Caserio, he did say that “organizational changes” could be coming in Houston.

Caserio was New England’s director of player personnel from 2008-2020.
Unfortunately for Caserio, his tenure with the Texans hasn’t been very successful.
Maybe the Patriots’ history with Caserio will play a factor in this situation. For now though, it’s all speculation.
