Look: The NFL Has 1 Priciest Game Ticket For 2023 Season

NFL teams opened up their ticket sales shortly after the release of the 2023 season schedules. While a number of games quickly sold most of their tickets, one game is now so popular that it’s the most expensive game of 2023 to attend.

According to ESPN’s Mike Reiss, the Week 1 matchup between the reigning NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles and the home team New England Patriots is the most expensive game in the league. He noted that the average price per ticket on Vivid Seats has risen to $807 since tickets became available.

It’s not too hard to figure out why the tickets are so pricey. It’s a rematch of the Patriots’ Super Bowl LII defeat at the hands of the Eagles (even though most of the personnel for both teams has changed drastically since then).

More notably, the game is at Gillette Stadium, which has not had a single issue filling up their stadium in decades. A game of that magnitude – in the season opener no less – is bound to get fans excited.

Via @VividSeats, the most in-demand game for the 2023 NFL season (based on average ticket price) is currently Eagles at Patriots — $807.

Welcome back, Tom Brady.

The New England Patriots will be featured in primetime four times this season, with three of those primetime meetings coming in three straight weeks in December.

The Eagles will also be featured prominently in primetime, getting five primetime slots along with one of the NFL’s rare Christmas Day games.

As for the two teams’ expectations, the Eagles are seeking a return trip to the Super Bowl to finish the job while the Patriots are just hoping to get back into the playoffs and avoid another one-and-done.

The game will be played on September 10 at 4:25 p.m. ET and will air on CBS.
