The idea of Bill Belichick being pushed out of New England seems ridiculous, but apparently it’s not far-fetched.
During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show this Tuesday afternoon, Patriots reporter Tom E. Curran provided some juicy information about Belichick’s coaching future.
Curran said Patriots owner Robert Kraft may need to have a difficult conversation with Belichick if things don’t improve this fall.
“It’s a business, and you need success,” Curran said. “It might not be Bill’s decision on when he goes.”
As you’d expect, NFL fans are baffled by the thought of Belichick being shown the door.

The Patriots have missed the playoffs twice in the past three seasons. That’s not the standard in New England.
If the Patriots have another below .500 season in 2023, Belichick’s future with the organization may be up in the air.
