Look: Derrick Henry Asked About 1 Team At Pro Bowl

March 6, 2023 by The Spun

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – NOVEMBER 22: Running back Derrick Henry #22 of the Tennessee Titans looks back after scoring the game winning touchdown in overtime against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on November 22, 2020 in Baltimore, Maryland. (Photo by Rob Carr/Getty Images)

Amid reports that the Tennessee Titans are actively shopping all-world running back Derrick Henry, he may already have his eyes on one destination in particular.

A video from last month’s Pro Bowl has been going viral of Henry talking to New England Patriots linebacker Matthew Judon. While they were chatting, Henry asked him about New England.

“How you like it in New England, man?” Henry could be heard saying. Judon replied, “I love it actually.”

Patriots fans in the replies seem skeptical that such an acquisition could ever happen. The team tends to avoid massive trades involving big stars – especially ones that would cost them high draft picks like Henry certainly would.

But there are maybe less than five teams in the entire NFL that wouldn’t want to have Derrick Henry on their team. He’s been one of the league’s most dominant runners for the better part of five years and is just two years removed from rushing for over 2,000 yards.

The Tennessee Titans have a number of needs that need addressing right now and their mindset my be to offload Henry for the draft capital to do so.

It would be something else if the Patriots found a way to bring Derrick Henry into the fold. Few teams are more adept at carving up an offense via the run game even with average to below-average running backs as they are.

Where do you think Derrick Henry will play in 2023?
