Kirk Cousins Had Telling Tom Brady Comment Amid Patriots Dynasty Series

Apple TV is set to release a new documentary series on the New England Patriots dynasty next month and it’s safe to say that quarterback Kirk Cousins will be glued to his seat while watching it.

Taking to X on Tuesday, Cousins said that he was floored by a quote by former Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola about Tom Brady. He called the quote one of the strongest compliments any quarterback can receive.

“Amendola’s quote, “We worked for Bill, but we played for Tom” from the Dynasty trailer is about as strong a compliment as a QB can receive,” Cousins wrote.

Fans were intrigued by the quote as well:

“It is also the only way a team can be so good for so long. No one will work for management if they don’t want to work for their best colleagues. Not the same if you switch the roles. Labor supports labor in the end. Rightfully so and I think BB would agree,” one user replied.

“seems like you have a few guys that think the same about you Kirko,” another wrote, referencing some of the replies.

“indictment on BB and Compliment for TB my guess is offensive players did feel as warm about HC as Defensive players,” a third noted.

Will you be watching the series?
