“He’s Awesome” – Top Ravens Impending Free Agent Could Receive Significant Interest in 2026

November 20, 2025 by Last Word On Pro Football

While the Baltimore Ravens are having a comeback this 2025 season despite the 1-5 start, the team could lose top free agent, Travis Jones once free agency comes around in March. Many people within the league believe that Jones could have a market from other teams, as they view him as the “top” defensive tackle option. Jones is having himself a resurgent campaign, and with his next contract being his second one, it’s no wonder that he will likely receive plenty of interest to join another team. The price tag for the Ravens at $25.6 million is too steep, so this could force Baltimore to either lowball him or let him walk in free agency, which the latter is likely the route they will go.

However, Jones isn’t the most perfect run-stuffer in the NFL. Through 58 games, he only recorded five sacks and 13 tackles for loss, so interesting to see that one NFC executive gave him high praise despite the lack of production in his first three seasons. While he doesn’t blow up the stat sheet, Jones still does the dirty work for a team that needs it.

This means that since the Ravens lost Nnamdi Madubuike to a season-ending injury, Jones emerged as a reliable replacement threat. The expectation was that Baltimore would extend both Jones and Madubuike after the 2025 season, but the latest injury may offset the plans. With that, Jones’ presence forces offensive lines to double, and that may intrigue these three suitors.
