Former Patriots star Devin McCourty appeared on this Tuesday’s edition of Get Up on ESPN. He discussed Lamar Jackson’s situation with the Ravens and whether he’d be a good fit in New England.
At the moment, Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe are the only quarterbacks listed on the Patriots’ depth chart.
Even though McCourty was teammates with Jones for two years, he believes the Patriots should pursue Jackson.
“You have to make a call and see,” McCourty said. “If you hear Lamar Jackson is interested in playing on your team … he’s one of the rare quarterbacks that you say, ‘He’s a guy.’ When he gets out there, he can go change a franchise. So you’ve got to at least call and say, ‘Hey, Baltimore, what’s up? What are we talking about here? What is it going to take?'”

Tedy Bruschi agrees but says: “I don’t think this is something that would be realistic for New England.”https://t.co/PrihJx7OsB

On Monday, Jackson revealed that he requested a trade from the Ravens on March 2.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh seemed unfazed by Jackson’s trade request. That doesn’t mean a trade won’t happen though.
Do you think the Patriots should pursue Jackson this offseason?
