Former New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman has stayed busy since retiring by doing various broadcast jobs. This coming season he’ll have a new football-related job.
Per Ari Meirov, Edelman will be joining FOX Sports as an analyst for the Sunday NFL Kickoff show. He will presumably have a similar role to what he had with Inside the NFL on Paramount+, which earned him a Sports Emmy in 2022.
The decision to move to FOX is a fairly interesting one as it will ensure that he stays close to two of his best friends from his playing days: Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady. Gronkowski already works at FOX while Brady will be joining the network for the 2024 NFL season.

With Tom Brady now retired, there’s certainly no incentive for Julian Edelman to return to playing in the NFL despite being heavily recruited to join Brady and Rob Gronkowski in Tampa Bay over the past few years.
Who knows? Maybe FOX Sports will have some kind of plan to get the three together for an NFL game sometime in the near future.
We certainly know that the trio has chemistry…
