The former seventh-round draft choice was waived on Monday.
Andrew Stueber will head from the AFC East to the NFC South.
The Atlanta Falcons claimed the third-year offensive lineman off waivers from the New England Patriots on Tuesday, according to the NFL transaction wire.
Stueber, 24, had departed from the roster in Foxborough as the final week of organized team activities got underway. He was vying for a backup role between the tackle and guard spots.
Entering the league in the seventh round of the 2022 draft, Stueber marked New England’s last selection that spring. No. 245 overall out of Michigan would spend his rookie season on the non-football injury list while recovering from a torn hamstring. He cleared waivers at the 53-man roster deadline last August before agreeing to sign to the practice squad.
Consecutive standard elevations followed for Stueber against the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets to end 2023, but the call-ups did not give way to game action.
The former Wolverines first-team All-Big Ten offensive lineman was retained on a futures contract in January.
The Patriots signed rookie wide receiver David Wallis, a product of Division III Randolph-Macon College, in a corresponding move on Monday.
