Joshua Hinch spent four years in New England.
Former New England Patriots scout Joshua Hinch has found a new team. According to a report by NFL insider Neil Stratton, Hinch will be working for the Cincinnati Bengals moving forward.
Hinch had originally arrived in New England in 2021. Serving as a pro scout upon joining the organization, he was promoted to area scout in 2023. He was responsible for the southeast region before departing the team earlier this offseason.
Before joining the Patriots, Hinch worked as a player personnel director in the XFL and the AAF. He also spent time in various roles with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as well as at SUNY Maritime College, South Carolina and Northwestern.
Hinch is one of several members of the personnel department leaving New England this offseason. The Patriots also saw the departures of college scouting director Camren Williams and pro scouting director Patrick Stewart; the latter has since been replaced by A.J. Highsmith.
