After four seasons in Foxborough, Evan Rothstein will be moving on to Mile High.
The Denver Broncos have hired the 36-year-old as the team’s offensive line assistant and director of game management, it was announced Thursday.

Rothstein originally joined the New England Patriots in 2021 under a research, analysis and coaching role. The SUNY Cortland alum served as an offensive assistant the following season and attended the East-West Shrine Bowl before being named assistant quarterbacks coach in 2023. After Bill Belichick’s departure, he remained in the fold for Jerod Mayo in 2024 as the assistant quarterbacks coach and director of game management.
New head coach Mike Vrabel’s Patriots staff, which was finalized in February, moves into 2025 with Ashton Grant as quarterbacks coach and John Streicher as vice president of football operations and strategy.
Prior to arriving at Gillette Stadium, Rothstein spent nine years with the Detroit Lions. While in the NFC North, his positions included special teams quality control, special projects, offensive assistant, research and analysis, as well as head coach assistant to three-time Super Bowl champion Matt Patricia.
Rothstein interned with Syracuse University’s video operations department in 2009 and spent the subsequent two campaigns on the program’s staff before entering the NFL ranks.
