The former NFL star is in legal trouble once again.

Antonio Brown, who played one game for the New England Patriots during the 2019 season, is in legal trouble once again. The seven-time Pro Bowler is wanted by authorities in Miami-Dade County on the charge of attempted murder with a firearm.

The warrant stems from a shooting in May, according to a report by The Washington Post. The warrant was signed by a judge Wednesday, calling for the 36-year-old to post a $10,000 bond and remain under house arrest until facing trial. As of Thursday night, however, Brown could not be reached.

According to the Post report, eyewitnesses and video footage seem to identify Brown as shooting twice at an another man following an altercation at a celebrity boxing event. The victim was treated for undisclosed injuries in a nearby hospital.

Brown spent a majority of his NFL career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he became one of the most productive wide receivers of his generation. He later had a brief stint with the Las Vegas Raiders and the aforementioned Patriots before closing out his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

For as successful as Brown was on the field, he has faced a litany of legal and off-field issues throughout his career and beyond. The Patriots released him in 2019 due to allegations of sexual assault.
