Everyone’s Convinced Mac Jones Threw Jab At Patriots This Week

Now that quarterback Mac Jones is a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars, he’s opening up a little bit more – and potentially taking a shot at his former employer, the New England Patriots.

During a recent press conference, Jones was asked about his hobbies. But while talking about his love of rapping, Jones said that he already has a few songs and wanted to let people know now that he’s “not in New England.”

“I don’t really have too many,” Jones said, via the New York Post. “I like to golf a little bit. I like to go fishing. I like to be on the beach. I like to do a little bit of rapping.”

“I got a couple of songs, but nobody knows about it, so, I’m letting the world know now that I’m not in New England.”

Fans seem pretty convinced that Jones is taking a swing at the Patriots and the “Patriot Way” under former head coach Bill Belichick. For the most part, they believe he seems a lot happier now that he’s playing in sunny Florida (in his hometown of Jacksonville no less) than up in frigid Massachusetts.

“new england stray filled my soul with happiness,” one user joked.

“I can’t decide if I like or hate this guy. Lmao,” wrote another.

“Man has the weight of Belicheck off his neck,” a third mused.

It seems like everything worked out well in the end: Jones got to leave New England and the Patriots fanbase seem glad to be rid of him.
