The Las Vegas Raiders made a couple of big changes on Wednesday morning.
They fired head coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler because of a 3-5 start to the season. McDaniels had only been the head coach for a year and a half.
With him fired people are already speculating about him going back to coach with the New England Patriots.
“Josh McDaniels going back to coach with the Patriots the way adults move back in with their parents when things blow up would be a high-level comedy,” one tweet read.

McDaniels has been the offensive coordinator for the Patriots two times. He first served in the role from 2006-08 and then from 2012-21.Β
As a head coach, he has a 20-33 overall record since he also coached the Denver Broncos for two years.
Time will tell if he goes back to the Patriots
