Drew Bledsoe Is Still Trolling Tom Brady About His Divorce

May 14, 2024 by The Spun

“The Roast of Tom Brady” is over, but Drew Bledsoe is still doing some trolling.

On “Up & Adams” with FanDuel’s Kay Adams Monday, Bledsoe recounted a story of the first time he met Brady’s ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen. It happened while the two quarterbacks ran into each other skiing out in Montana.

Bledsoe saw Brady at the bottom of the mountain and tried to ski down and spay his old teammate–except he wound up covering Gisele instead.

“So Tom looks at me like, ‘It’s go time, you don’t mess with my wife’ — or at least back then, you didn’t,” Bledsoe said, dropping in a joke about Brady’s divorce.

While Bledsoe said Brady wasn’t happy, Gisele actually gave him a big hug. Later on at dinner, she told him she did that because of how well her husband spoke of his former New England teammate.

You can tell from this clip that Bledsoe has no problem poking fun at Brady, as he did so multiple times before unleashing the quip about Gisele.

During Brady’s Netflix roast earlier this month, Bledsoe also trolled his onetime backup about his failed marriage.

“Two things I’ve experienced that you never will, Tom. Being drafted as 1st pick in the Draft and celebrating a 28th wedding anniversary. That was yesterday, Happy anniversary, babe,” Bledsoe said.

A stinging barb for sure, which Bledsoe later revealed his wife Maura actually came up with.

“But the truth is, it was a replacement for a joke that I had written that was far worse,” Bledsoe said of his wife’s joke.
