New England Patriots cornerback Jack Jones left practice abruptly on Thursday.
It was a bit confusing because he didn’t appear to be hurt. He also returned to the practice field a short time later but watched the rest of the session on the sideline.
For a bit, nobody knew why he left practice, but that changed on Thursday evening with a new report about the situation.
Per NBC Sports Boston, Jones seemed to get heated after a rep against wide receiver Kendrick Bourne. He was seen pacing the sideline during a conversation with a coach and then he walked off the field.

Even safety Jabrill Peppers tried to come over to Jones and put his arm around him as he was walking off the field.
Hopefully, Jones will be in a better state of mind for Friday’s practice. He’s also set to appear in court on Aug. 18 regarding felony gun charges following his arrest at Logan Airport in June.
