Dak Prescott Is A Big Fan Of Ezekiel Elliott’s New Haircut

For the first time ever this NFL season, Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott won’t be teammates.

The pair, who joined the Dallas Cowboys together in 2016, are now split up. Elliott was let go by Dallas earlier this offseason for salary cap reasons and signed a one-year free agent contract with the New England Patriots this week.

When Elliott arrived in New England, he showed off a brand new haircut, shedding his long locks for close-cropped waves.

Dak is a fan of the new look, as well as a strong supporter of Elliott in general, as he made clear to reporters Thursday.

“That’s a brother well beyond this football field; I know he’s going to help that team,” Prescott said of Elliott. “Talk about being a great teammate, a professional, there’s not many better than Zeke that I’ve seen in my time … and love his new haircut. He looks younger.”

While Dak and Zeke won’t be sharing the backfield in Dallas this season, they will see each other early in the year. The Cowboys host the Patriots in Week 4.

Elliott is projected to be the No. 2 running back in New England behind Rhamondre Stevenson, but should have a sizable workload even if he isn’t the starter.
