Today game against the Dallas Cowboys is an emotional homecoming for New England Patriots running back Ezekiel Elliott.
Prior to Elliott’s first game back at AT&T Stadium, where he spent the first seven seasons of his career, the Cowboys played a tribute video on the massive video screen at Jerry World.
When it finished, the camera cut to Elliott on the New England sideline and the home fans gave him a rousing ovation.
Zeke responded by doing his trademark “Feed me” gesture.

Elliott enjoyed a stellar career with the Cowboys, making three Pro Bowls, leading the NFL in rushing yards twice and making first-team All-Pro as a rookie in 2016. He rushed for 8,262 yards and 68 touchdowns in 103 games.
Pregame reporting from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport indicated that Elliott was in for a sizable role in the Patriots’ attack today.
He didn’t touch the ball on New England’s first drive of the game, as Mac Jones (3-of-4 passing for 63 yards) took the offense downfield for a Chad Ryland field goal to tie the game 3-3.
