The Patriots upset the Bills in dramatic fashion on Sunday to capture Bill Belichick’s 300th career win. And as usual, New England’s head coach was pretty tight-lipped about it after the game.
Asked about how it felt to join George Halas and the late Don Shula as the only coaches to accomplish the feat, Belichick replied:
“I mean, it’s great. I’m really more focused on, you know, our team and this year. Worry about that later. Thank you.”

Today’s win was just the second of the season for Belichick’s Patriots after dropping each of their three previous games by an average of 24 points.
Virtually nobody gave the Pats a shot it in this one but the offense had a much better showing than it did in really any of the team’s previous games.
Regardless of how the past few years have gone, Bill Belichick is cemented in history as one of the game’s greatest coaches and defensive minds. His two-decade long run with Tom Brady will likely never be duplicated and his eight Super Bowl titles (counting his rings with the Giants) are also the most of any individual in NFL history.
