The New England Patriots have a new running back in the fold in Ezekiel Elliott.
They signed Elliott on Monday to a one-year deal that’s worth up to $6 million. He’ll form a good one-two punch with Rhamondre Stevenson in the backfield.

Even though he’s only been with the Patriots for less than a week, head coach Bill Belichick is still liking what he’s seeing.
“I mean, he’s only been here two days,” Belichick said, via ProFootballTalk. “We haven’t really been able to practice with him, so not so much team work. But, he’s done things. He worked out with the strength staff on Wednesday. So, it’s coming along. He’s definitely not there yet, but we’re getting there.”
The Patriots have a little over three weeks to get him ready for the regular season since their first game will be on Sept. 10 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Elliott finished the 2022 season with 231 carries for 876 yards and 12 touchdowns.
