Bill Belichick On Joe Judge: ‘He’ll Do Whatever I Ask Him To Do’

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick often has such a menacing way of talking even when he’s talking about people that he likes.

Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Belichick had an interesting comment on special teams coach and longtime disciple Joe Judge. He declared that Judge will “do whatever I ask him to do” and expects him to do a lot this season.

“He’ll do whatever I ask him to do… He’s smart. He can do a lot, and he will,” Belichick said.

Fans thought that the way Belichick phrased that statement was a bit odd, but Patriots fans were happy to see Belichick laying down the law given how many titles he has.

The statement on Joe Judge comes after Judge was alleged to be responsible for a CBA violation that resulted in the Patriots being stripped of two offseason practices.

Judge was one of the Patriots’ offensive assistants last season but was moved to his traditional special teams role after the team hired Bill O’Brien as their new offensive coordinator.

It’s expected that the Patriots will bounce back from last year’s disappointing season now that they finally seem to have a proper coaching staff in position.

But it’s starting to look like Judge in particular might be on a short leash.
