Patriots head coach Bill Belichick might be on the market heading into Week 1 of the 2023 season.
According to Page Six, Belichick has been involved in a “drawn-out, back-and-forth breakup” with longtime girlfriend Linda Holliday.
Belichick and Holiday have been together since 2007. Per the report from Page Six, they’ve been on shaky terms for nearly a year.
Despite their split, Holiday has reportedly been staying at Belichick’s home of late. It just doesn’t seem like this breakup will have a clean ending.

Complicating matters is that southern gal Holliday has got to be very fond of his New England haven Nantucket during their romance, and isn’t keen to leave the tight-knit island community just because she’s no longer with Belichick. We’re told she wants to stick around.
Meanwhile, it’s also a delicate situation for business reasons — not only does Holliday head his Bill Belichick Foundation but she also has something of a history of, er, oversharing on social media.
Apparently, people inside the Patriots’ building are worried about what information Holliday may share on social media. In the past, she took shots at Tom Brady.
Of course, Belichick has not yet commented on his breakup with Holliday.
