However, New England is far from a juggernaut. Starting quarterback Jacoby Brissett is a prototypical game-manager as the club allows recent top pick Drake Maye to develop. The defense has the potential to be solid, but, even with their young talent, the Patriots lack clear playmakers on both sides of the ball.
Expect New England’s defense to further frustrate Miami’s offense for most of the game. Playing at Gillette Stadium should also move the needle in the Pats direction.
Another week for Huntley to learn the offense should give Miami a punchers chance to steal a win and buy Tagovailoa more time to get healthy. The Dolphins just need one big play by Hill, De’Von Achane, Jaylen Waddle, or any of their playmakers.
