
Tom Brady and Shaquille O’Neal are two of many celebrities who are being sued over their involvement in the FTX cryptocurrency exchange crash and scandal. This week there was a new update in the case.
Attorney Adam Moskowitz, who has been litigating against against FTX, released a statement on Monday announcing that the numerous lawsuits filed against Brady, Shaq and others have been consolidated and coordinator, and will now be moved to federal court in the Southern District of Florida.
“We are grateful to the [United States Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation] for granting our Motion and consolidating all FTX cases before Judge K. Michael Moore, who will certainly continue to efficiently and effectively coordinate all of these important actions here in Miami,” Moskowitz said in a statement, per ProFootballTalk.
FTX went under last year and founder Sam Bankman-Fried was charged in both criminal and civil court. He currently faces up to 115 years in prison on various charges of fraud, money laundering and campaign finance violations.

Brady, Shaq, Trevor Lawrence and even the Golden State Warriors organization have all been named as defendants in a massive civil lawsuit involving their promotion of the doomed crypto exchange.
According to Moskowitz’s lawsuit website, the class action lawsuit is seeking up to $5 billion.
