Plus, are you confident in the direction of the team?
The 2025 NFL Draft has come and gone, and the New England Patriots added 11 new players to the roster spanning from the fourth pick to the last.
The Patriots opened with four consecutive picks on offense. LSU offensive lineman Will Campbell was selected with the No. 4 overall pick. He started for three straight seasons at left tackle for the Tigers, allowing two sacks and 18 pressures last season as a junior.
Ohio State running back TreVeyon Henderson went next at pick No. 38. He rushed for over 3,700 yards on 590 carries in four years for the Buckeyes with three seasons of over 200 yards receiving as well. Henderson was widely regarded as the top pass-blocking running back in this year’s class.
With two picks in the third round, New England added Washington State wide receiver Kyle Williams and Georgia center Jared Wilson. Williams broke out in his fifth season last year with almost 1,200 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns. Wilson was Second-Team All-SEC last year in his first season as a starter.
To open day three, New England reached on safety Craig Woodson. An older prospect at 24 years old, Woodson received high marks from Pro Football Focus for his play at Cal last season and tested well at the NFL Combine.
The Patriots added a pair of players to their defensive front with their next two picks, adding Florida State defensive tackle Joshua Farmer and LSU edge rusher Bradyn Swinson. Both players were seen as top-100 players by consensus heading into the draft.
New England wrapped up the draft with two special teams additions and two depth pieces. Kicker Andres Borregales out of Miami and long snapper Julian Ashby were picked with the expectation of stepping into starting roles in 2025, as made evident by the team releasing Joe Cardona after the draft. Missouri left tackle Marcus Bryant should compete with Vederian Lowe and Demontrey Jacobs for a backup job, and Mr. Irrelevant Kobee Minor could earn a roster spot as a special teamer in the secondary.
How do you grade the team’s draft? Are you confident the team is headed in the right direction?
