The ESPN insider is feeling bullish about the Patriots.
Count Adam Schefter among the believers in the 2025 New England Patriots. Appearing on his eponymous podcast, the ESPN insider expressed positive feelings about the team of first-year head coach Mike Vrabel.
“I’m going to make a prediction here right now: the Patriots are going to win more games this year than people realize,” Schefter said.
“They’re going to be a better team this year than people realize. Had a strong draft, loaded up, and Mike Vrabel, he knows how to get his team ready to compete. That’s why they made the move. I believe the Patriots will be one of the surprise teams this year.
Schefter added that he sees the Patriots as a potential wild card team, and even potentially giving the Buffalo Bills a run for the AFC East title.
The Patriots are entering 2025 off back-to-back 4-13 seasons under head coaches Bill Belichick and Jerod Mayo.
