Ezekiel Elliott took a productive visit to Foxborough on Saturday, but an AFC East rival is also reportedly “showing interest” in the two-time rushing champ.
Per The Athletic’s Jeff Howe: “Zeke Elliott and the Patriots discussed contract parameters, and there’s mutual interest, per sources. The Jets, who are hosting Dalvin Cook, have also shown interest in Elliott, who is expected to weigh his options in the coming days before making a decision.”

Momentum has been rumored to be building regarding Dalvin Cook and the New York Jets, who have been big buyers this offseason.
The Patriots have also been linked to Cook as well as former Jags/Bucs running back Leonard Fournette as they look to pair a veteran presence in the backfield with the young Rhamondre Stevenson.
The Dallas Cowboys parted ways with Elliott earlier this year in order to clear the decks for the younger, cheaper Tony Pollard, who also gives them a home run-hitting element that Zeke hadn’t been able to provide as consistently as he once did.
With training camp started and the preseason right around the corner, neither team has a ton of time to make their RB addition and integrate them into the offense.
We’ll see which way Elliott leans in the very near future.
