Name: Ryan Cameron
Position: Center
Height: 6’2”
Hometown: Mississauga, Ontario
Current Team: United States National U18 Team
Draft Projection: It looks like Moore will be a pretty early pick in the draft, with projections ranging between him being a late first to mid second round selection
Prospect Preview: Moore had a solid season with the United States National Team Development Program in 2024-25, putting up 27 goals and 59 points in 64 games. He has been described as a player who flashes some big time offensive upside at times but who also struggles a bit with consistency. He plays a mostly straight forward game and is a fan of setting up shop in front of the net and converting on rebounds and redirections from in close. He isn’t the flashiest of players overall, but he does a lot right in all three zones.
Moore should be a pretty important part of BC’s forward group from the jump next year as the Eagles look to replace a whole lot of the production they are losing with Ryan Leonard and Gabe Perreault going pro. The general consensus on Moore seems to be that he’s a player who will benefit from some extended time playing in college, so we should get to watch him for a couple of seasons before he begins his own NHL career.
Fun Fact: Moore is a dual citizen of Canada and the United States, making him a bit of an untraditional US National Team Development Program player.
