Name: Ryan Cameron
Position: Goalie
Height: 6’0”
Hometown: Berwyn, PA
Current Team: Lone Star Brahmas (NAHL)
Draft Projection: Cameron looks like he could go in the later rounds of the draft, with some projections having him being selected in the sixth or seventh round.
Prospect Preview: We likely won’t be seeing Ryan Cameron on a BC team until the 2026-27 season, but he has put up some exciting numbers recently. Cameron played 30 games with the Lone Star Brahmas last season, putting up a .948 save percentage en route to a 21-6-1 record in the regular season before winning eight of his ten playoff starts to go with his .939 postseason save percentage.
The hope is that Cameron can be the long term answer in net for BC when he does get to campus after Jacob Fowler left to begin his professional career at the end of last season. Scouting reports describe him as being technically strong in net an someone who excels at rebound control, which are traits that many of BC’s best goalies have shared over the years. He is considered a bit undersized for his position, but hopefully he’ll be able to make up for that and add his name to the list of successful Boston College goalies.
Fun Fact: In his first season in the NAHL last year, Cameron lead the league in several major goaltending categories as he took home the NAHL Goaltender of the Year award
