Eagles vs. Skyhawks

After a tight loss to Wake Forest last weekend, Boston College men’s basketball has more than a week off before its game against Stonehill on Sunday afternoon in Conte Forum.

Who: Stonehill Skyhawks (6-5) vs. Boston College Eagles (6-4)

Where: Conte Forum, Chestnut Hill, MA

When: Sunday, December 15th, 2024

Tip-off Time: 4 PM EST

How to Watch: This game will be available on ACC Extra.

The Stonehill Skyhawks hail from the Northeast Conference (NEC) and this is their third year in Division I. Along with Saint Francis, they were picked to finish last in the NEC preseason poll after going 4-27 last season. In 2024, they are off to a 6-5 start with wins over Framingham State, New Orleans, Bryant, East Texas A&M, Quinnipiac, and Lesley.

The Skyhawks are led by senior guard Josh Morgan, from Brampton, Ontario. Morgan spent his previous four years at Incarnate Word and is off to the best start of his career. He is leading the team in scoring, averaging 14.8 points per game, while playing just about 27 minutes per game. While he’s shooting 37.3% from the field, he’s been hitting threes at a 43.9% rate and attempting almost seven per game.

Forward Todd Brogna, a Massachusetts native, is second on the team in scoring (12.3 points) and first in rebounding, with 6.3 boards per game. Hermann Koffi, who also hails from Canada, is a 6’4 freshman guard putting up 9.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. He’s also shooting 40.4% from beyond the arc and 52.6% from the field.

Stonehill is ranked 319th by KenPom, while Boston College sits at 153th.
