No updates on the depth chart this week, but a few injury notes from Jeff Hafley’s media availability.
- On Kobay White, who missed the Clemson game due to knee injury:
“Kobay practiced today [Wednesday]. We’ll see how he fits into the plan for the week. But he was practicing.”
Doesn’t feel like the utmost confidence, but good to hear Kobay is back to practicing. The team’s depth at receiver certainly makes it easier to ease him back.
- On Tyler Vrabel, who injured his knee against Clemson toward the end of the half:
“Tyler ran around a bit more. That one’s just going to be how it feels . . . I would not count Tyler Vrabel out from not playing. He’s a very tough kid”
Jack Conley stepped in and played admirably in Vrabel’s place. Hafley is perfectly fine with Conley starting at LT, but noted that Vrabel is considered day-to-day. Hafley said he had to go Wednesday and Thursday and feel pretty strong in order to play.
