On Monday evening, the ACC announced its full 2025 football schedule for all 17 teams, including Boston College.

2025 Boston College Football Schedule

  • Saturday August 30 vs Fordham
  • Saturday September 6 @ Michigan State
  • Saturday September 13 @ Stanford
  • BYE WEEK: Saturday September 20
  • Saturday September 27 vs Cal
  • Saturday October 4 @ Pitt
  • Saturday October 11 vs Clemson
  • Saturday October 18 vs UConn
  • Saturday October 25 @ Louisville
  • Saturday November 1 vs Notre Dame
  • Saturday November 8 vs SMU
  • Saturday November 15 vs Georgia Tech
  • BYE WEEK: Saturday November 2
  • Saturday November 29 @ Syracuse

The schedule seems to be somewhat back-loaded with home games this season, with just two home BC games in August/September, two in October, and then three in November. That includes the premier match-up of the season, a home game against Notre Dame on November 1st.

The Alumni Stadium crowd will see BC open their season against Fordham on August 30th, but won’t see them again until September 27th against Cal. It’s a shame we’re losing out on most of the best tailgating weather in September, but ND, Clemson, SMU, and Louisville are probably the four best teams on the schedule for Boston College, and we’ll see three of them at home (not Louisville). It’s a good slate of games for a team in transition, a team that is continuing to be molded by now second-year head coach Bill O’Brien.
