On Wednesday evening, Boston College revealed their new uniforms for the 2025 season with new apparel provider New Balance. Take a look at the photos.
The uniforms look… basically the same as they did last season. And that’s not a bad thing! The simple maroon and white color scheme with gold trim still looks great, an improvement from what the Eagles were wearing for most of the 2010s. The new design does add stripes on the shoulders, something that did not exist on last year’s Adidas uniforms. Plus the Eagles will retain the solid gold helmet instead of one with a maroon stripe, which seems to be a popular preference among the fanbase.
One thing we’d love to see down the line is some sort of alternate jersey other than the red bandanna jerseys. Maybe they could take another stab at a solid gold jersey, something that has been used in the past in an ugly way. This is the first year that New Balance will be the apparel provider for Boston College football, coming after they took over all other BC sports in 2021.
