Three Eagles had their names called over this past weekend’s NFL Draft. Boston College was one of 11 schools with two (Ezeiruaku, Trapilo) or more players drafted in the first 2 rounds drafted in the NFL Draft. Center Drew Kendall was drafted in the fifth to the other Eagles.
But wait there’s more. A number of other BC guys are fielding calls to participate in offseason programs, minicamps, or outright sign with teams as undrafted free agents.
Defensive tackle Cam Horsley who was picking up some steam throughout the draft process quickly signed with the Tennessee Titans. Horsley was the top rated interior defensive lineman to go undrafted per NFL Network.
Offensive lineman Jack Conley is staying local signing with Mike Vrabel’s Patriots.
Running back Kye Robichaux signed a UDFA contract with the Detroit Lions. Robichaux joins his former teammate Christian Mahogany.
Linebacker Kam Arnold landed a deal with the Washington Commanders.
Tight end Kamari Morales has been invited to rookie minicamps with both the Ravens and Dolphins, while wide receiver Dino Tomlin has been invited to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers minicamp.
Running back Treshaun Ward is rated the 26th best available undrafted back available, most of whom have found an early home. There are some whispers around Ward with the Steelers and he did visit with the Jets. DE Neto Okpala, and DBs Khari Johnson and Bryquise Brown round out the Eagles looking and might be on some team’s radars as well. Johnson may be headed to Buffalo, but nothing official there yet.
Stay tuned for more updates, but best of luck to all as they continue their football journeys.
