Trapilo played in at least nine games in four straight seasons for Boston College, improving as he went along and eventually earning all-ACC first team honors in 2024. Trapilo is a huge 6’8”, 316 pound offensive tackle and is a contender to make an immediate impact in the NFL. You can read more about Trapilo’s scouting report here.
The Chicago Bears’ GM is Brian Poles, a former offensive lineman and Boston College alum himself. He made his second round selection with protecting Bears QB Caleb Martin as a top priority. The Bears have needed upgrades all across their offensive line, having already replaced their center and both guards this offseason. Now Trapilo will come in to compete for a starting role at tackle.
Good luck in the pros, Ozzy!
