Mutryn could join the Eagles this fall, but reportedly more likely to arrive on the Heights in 2026. He’s a terrific all-around center that could be an anchor in the middle of BC’s forwards groups for years to come with his excellent defense and physicality. He’s also a BC guy through-and-through, as his father Scott Mutryn was a quarterback for the Boston College football team. He’ll have a few years to develop before he makes it to an NHL roster, so hopefully we’ll see him blossom in Chestnut Hill over the next few seasons. By that point, maybe he’ll join former Eagle Will Smith in San Jose!
