Boston College’s hopes of replacing some of the offense lost by the departure of stars Matt Boldy, Alex Newhook, and Mike Hardman lie in part with players like Trevor Kuntar – a Bruins draft pick who saw bottom-six minutes in 2020-21, but showed flashes of the skill that got him on the NHL radar.
Kuntar will likely take on a much bigger role at BC this year and based on early reports out of Boston Bruins development camp, he’s having a strong summer – standing out among the B’s prospects in camp in Brighton:
Trevor Kuntar has had himself a really good week here at Dev Camp. His bread and butter is his high-end wrist shot which he’s used to tuck multiple pucks already. Not fancy, but he’s strong on his feet and moves with tons of purpose, determination. Solid player. #NHLBruins

He also spoke about his freshman year experiences at BC:

But the standout moment of Kuntar’s camp was probably this sweet between-the-legs goal that got the Warrior Ice Arena buzzing:

Camp is camp so make of it what you will but the reports of Kuntar standing out this week are a good sign as the 2021-22 season approaches – now just two months away.
