Name: Dean Letourneau

Position: Forward

Height: 6’7”

Hometown: Braeside, Ontario

Current Team: St Andrew’s College

Draft Projection: Letourneau’s combination of size and offensive skill have him ranked pretty highly on most draft boards, with the consensus being that he will likely end up being somewhere in the late first or early second round. NHL Central Scouting has him ranked as the 23rd best North American skater for the upcoming draft, which would have him fall roughly in that same range.

Prospect Preview: Originally set to start his BC career in the 2025-26 season, Letourneau recently changed his plans and will now be joining the Eagles in the fall. He’ll be an important part of the solution for making up for some of the team’s departing offensive firepower, and fortunately for BC, Letourneau looks like he should be up to the task.

Letourneau put up some eye popping numbers for St Andrew’s last season, leading the team with 61 goals and 127 points in just 56 games. He has a bit of a unique game for someone of his size, playing with a bit more finesse than you normally see from someone with a 6’7’’ frame. He is a solid skater and, as evidenced by his point totals, someone with a lot of offensive upside who can hopefully be an impact player for BC from day one.
