It was 2002, and that was back when you could mortgage your house and buy an NBA team. And that’s what I did. I never had any money, but I didn’t do it for money—I did it for love. I did it for love. Jeff Teague was on our team. A great person, a great player. But the Celtics are a way of life, and I’m very lucky to be able to have my hometown team.”
