According to ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the Boston Celtics are to hire former Milwaukee Bucks assistant coach Ben Sullivan to join new head coach Ime Udoka‘s growing coaching staff with the team.
Yet another Pacific Northwest addition to the Celtics’ coaching staff, Sullivan is a fellow native of Portland, Oregon – the hometown of Udoka himself. Both Sullivan and Udoka got their start with the San Antonio Spurs on the coaching end of the clipboard, with Sullivan getting his first shot as a video coordinator for the Spurs with later stints assistant coaching for the Atlanta Hawks and the Bucks, with whom he has worked since 2018.

Per Celtics play-by-play announcer Sean Grande, Sullivan has worked with Giannis Antetokounmpo on his shot, providing additional offensive firepower to the team’s coaching staff.
Presumably complete or very nearly so, Boston’s staff is a full one with many new and talented faces to help mold a young roster into a hopefully formidable team for the coming 2021-22 campaign.
