Will Sam Hauser and the Boston Celtics sign a contract extension?

July 18, 2024 by Celtics Wire

Backup forward Sam Hauser and the Boston Celtics are in talks on a potential contract extension for the Virginia alum, with hopes of getting a deal done before the final year of his current contract begins next season. Will the two sides find common ground while such a move is possible for both sides?

Speaking at the NBA’s 2024 Las Vegas Summer League, CLNS Media reporter Bobby Manning and HoopsHype senior reporter Michael Scotto discuss how much it could end up costing the Celtics to keep him. The pair also get into how likely an extension getting done between the two parties may be.

Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say.
