Who shined in the Boston Celtics first game of Las Vegas Summer League?

July 15, 2024 by Celtics Wire

The Boston Celtics fell to the Miami Heat 119-114 in their first game of the NBA’s 2024 Las Vegas Summer League. The Summer Heat led for much of the contest, and while the Sin City Celtics were able to stay in it, they could never hold on to a lead for long.

Reserve guard Jaden Springer led the Celtics with 23 points, while backup Boston big man Neemias Queta added 20 of his own with 9 rebounds. For Miami, sophomore wing Jaime Jaquez Jr. shined with 29 points. The Celtics play their next game Monday night against Bronny James and the Summer Los Angeles Lakers.

Bobby Manning of CLNS Media and Noa Dalzell of Celtics Blog discuss the risers and fallers of the Celtics roster after their opening game of Summer League in Las Vegas.
