The Boston Celtics have decided to bring back veteran big man Enes Kanter on a one-year deal a season after trading him away in the offseason under the previous regime of Danny Ainge, with new team president Brad Stevens electing to bring the Turkish center back after a strong season with the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Zurich native put up 11.2 points per game with the Blazers in 2020-21 while matching a career-high 11 rebounds per contest in Portland, and will bring the same veteran presence to the team he was known for in Boston during the tumultuous 2019-20 season.
If you did not see too much of Kanter in his time back with the Trail Blazers, fan videographer Tomasz Kordylewski has got you covered with the highlight video embedded below.
Give it a watch to see what the Turkish big man was up to last season — and what he might bring to the team in the coming season.
