And with both veteran big man Al Horford and All-Star forward Jaylen Brown in the league’s health and safety protocol after returning positive COVID-19 results, Marcus Smart getting himself suspended and players getting dinged up enough to miss preseason games, it’s not exactly been a turbulence-free start. Does the team have enough time to get the Celtics into a coherent unit by the season debut at Madison Square Garden this Oct. 20?
