WATCH: Stashed Boston Celtics point guard Yam Madar's first Summer League press conference

August 4, 2021 by Celtics Wire Leave a Comment

If you ask stashed Boston Celtics floor general Yam Madar about where he will be playing in 2021-22, there is not a shred of doubt in his mind. The Israeli Premier Basketball League 2020-21 Most Improved Player has set his mind to making the team that drafted him in 2020.

And if he has a good showing in the 2021 Las Vegas Summer League, there is a very good chance his hunch will prove correct. The Beit Dagan native spoke with the U.S. media for the first time in a Celtics uniform this past Tuesday after his initial practice with Boston’s summer league squad and oozed confidence about his future with the team beyond the coming Nevada adventure.

To hear what Madar had to say about his time training on the West Coast, his practice with the team, and several other issues, watch the clip embedded below courtesy of our friends at CLNS Media.
