If you are not especially familiar with newest Boston Celtics point guard Dennis Schroder‘s game, you are likely far from alone. While a player sometimes jokingly called “German Rondo” might have the gritty, feisty style of play in common with his namesake, he has played for the Atlanta Hawks, Oklahoma City Thunder and the Los Angeles Lakers, a trio of squads not often at the top of Boston fans’ league pass teams.
It is uncertain whether the former Laker can earn a starting role with the Celtics, but it seems he could if he meshes well with the team as he tries to put together a case for a deal bigger than the taxpayer mid-level exception he will play for Boston on.
In the meantime, watch the video embedded below put together by fan videographer Tomasz Kordylewski while we wait to see Schroder on the court for the Celtics in 2021-22.
