The Boston Celtics seem to be broadcasting a plan to pursue Washington Wizards star guard Bradley Beal in free agency in the 2022 offseason, or perhaps they are retaining cap space to try and add some other star player to pair with the Celtics’ All-Star wings Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum.
With little in the way of action on the free agency market this offseason and some questions swirling about the wisdom of such a path on multiple levels, fans of Boston are rightfully worried about the coming tightrope of a path the team has chosen to embark on this offseason.
