President of the Maine Celtics (formerly the Maine Red Claws of Portland) Dajuan Eubanks recently sat down with the Portland Press Herald to talk about his career path to become the head of the Boston Celtics G League affiliate.
A product of Texas’ Rice University where Eubanks played collegiately, the future Maine Celtics head honcho leaned on his B.A. in business management instead of his on-court skills after graduating, and joined the then-Red Claws’ Vice President of Corporate Partnership. Advancing with and growing with the organization since its earliest days as a G League franchise, Eubanks now runs the organization on behalf of the parent club, its current owners.
