The Boston Celtics are bringing a pair of intriguing, highly-anticipated backcourt prospects to their 2021 Las Vegas Summer League squad kicking off play on Aug. 8, their No. 47 pick of the 2020 NBA draft point guard Yam Madar, and their No. 45 pick from the subsequent draft, wing Juhann Begarin.
Celtics assistant coach and Boston’s lead coach for summer league Joe Mazzulla spoke with the media about the two young guards after a pre-Sin City practice session on Friday. Noting that while there is a learning curve for Madar, both he and Begarin are willing to work and doing a good job.
