The Boston Celtics have reportedly been interviewing a few more 2021 NBA draft prospects in the days leading up to the annual event set to take place this Thursday, July 29.
According to the New York Times’ Adam Zagoria, former Auburn point guard Sharife Cooper has worked out with the Celtics as well as the Charlotte Hornets, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Clippers and Lakers and the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Ringer’s Mike Mazzeo is reporting that Boston worked out JT Thor — also of Auburn — ahead of the draft.
Thor has also met with the Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte, Chicago Bulls, Houston, Indiana, Memphis Grizzlies, San Antonio Spurs, New Orleans Pelicans, and New York Knicks with plans to meet with the Utah Jazz.

Both Thor and Cooper played just one season with Auburn, the former logging 9.4 points and 5 rebounds per game, while the latter put up 20.2 points, 4.3 boards, and 8.1 assists per contest.
Boston controls the No. 45 pick of the second round, and could conceivably move up or even out of the draft depending on the plans of the front office.
